Montfort Challenge Sponsor
The Montfort Challenge (MfC) is one of Assumption Pathway School's signature programme. It's main aim is to inculcate in her students an attitude of daring to dream and a disposition to take actions towards making one dreams come through. These dreams should not be selfish dreams.
In order that the students are able to appreciate the value of "going the distance" , the Montfort Challenge creates the platform for the students to:
- Be stretched in pursuing a self-directed goal and/ or ;
- Use the skills learnt to benefit at least one component of the community; and
- Live out the school values of care, adaptability, resilience, excellence, responsibility and the vision of "Achieving Personal Success".
The challenges are broadly categorized into the following:
- Sports and Adventure
- Aesthetics
- Community Service Projects(local or overseas)
In 2010, APS is privileged to have NTUC Income to come on board to support this initiative. NTUC Income has pledged about $150,000 in sponsorship as well as staff volunteer participation in the challenge.
This has indeed affirm the school's effort in maximizing the potential of our students as well as nourishing their personal growth.
