EXCO Learning Journey

The ExCO Team visited Melbourne, Australia to learn more about organization excellence and staff/student engagement in Victorian Schools. We also explored vocational education and student pathways in Victorian Schools.

As a new school with a vocational training focus, for students for whom traditional schools are not suitable, we heard from Associate Professor John Polesel and Dr Suzanne Rice from the School of Education at the University of Melbourne about recent research into school retention in Australia, and effective strategies to help schools increase school retention.
