APS established On-the-Job Training (OJT) platforms to provide Academy students with real work environments for applying their acquired skills. These workplaces, owned and managed by APS comprise:
The ACT
Assumption Café for Training (ACT) are set up in both school and external premises to offer diverse training experiences in varying environments.
School-based canteen stalls
At our APS' Bake & Brew canteen stall and Jurong Secondary School's Pod café stall, students learn and gain experience in managing customers, operating the cash register and providing barista services.

The ARK
Assumption Realworks Kitchens (ARK) are central kitchens located in the school's premises that supply baking and hot food items for sale at The ART and The ACT.
ARK (Baking)
The Academy students are trained to bake cakes, bread, pastries and they follow a rigorous production schedule for the daily supply of baked items to The ART and The ACT for sale. ARK (Baking) also supports festive bake orders from staff, school partners and the public.
ARK (Hot)
The hot food central kitchen provides an added OJT platform for the Academy students. Ingredients and packaged meals are prepared in the kitchen before distributing to The ART and The ACT for sale. ARK (Hot) also caters for the school's activities and meetings.
The ART
The Assumption Restaurant for Training (ART) is open to the public which provides an authentic working environment for students to apply their F&B knowledge and skills into practice.
