ST Engineering has been a strong supporter of APS’ Industry Experiential Programme (IEP) (opens in new tab), providing exposure for students to experience working in the industry.
In addition, ST Engineering has also been funding enrichment and innovation projects and contributing to students awards.
Sponsored equipment including collaborative robots, 3D printers, as well as solar-powered hydroponics systems.
Mr Vincent Chong, Group President and CEO of ST Engineering invited as the Guest-of-Honour to grace APS Graduation Ceremony 2024 and presented the students awards.
The ACT at ST Engineering
The ACT (Assumption Café for Training) is located at ST Engineering’s office building in Jurong East. ST Engineering has helped set up this training café with APS to create authentic learning opportunities and enable students to earn real work experiences beyond the familiarity of the school compound. As the first on-the-job training platform at an external non-school based premise serving ST Engineering staff, guests and visitors, The ACT provides a higher tier training for students to be work ready.
